LAS VEGAS — Trans performer and producer Jamie Kelly, formerly known as "Jamie French," has revealed a rebrand.
After using the surname “French” for the last 15 years of her adult career, Kelly felt the time was right for the switch. “I just got tired of carrying around my dad’s last name,” she explained. “He’s not a great guy, and the name was the last thing tying my life to his.”
The performer, who recently underwent facial feminization surgery, noted that she has "turned some big corners" in her personal life.
“I feel invigorated with my career,” she said. “‘Kelly’ is my mom’s maiden name, a name that I can be proud to carry forward. The lady is a saint and one of my best friends, so I’m excited for this marking point in my career and for the things to come.”
A rep noted that Kelly will star in forthcoming releases from Grooby, TransErotica and TransRoommates, among other studios.
